Disabled Patriot Fund

We are a newly formed group of area business people and local officials who have come together to help disabled American veterans who have fought in the War on Terrorism. As our mission statement explains, our common goal is to "provide financial relief for local U.S. military families who have been adversely affected by the "War on Terror", and we are asking for your support.

Governor Quinn and lawmakers from the south suburbs were in Richton Park Saturday at the newly constructed 'Patriot Home.' The Mill Creek Development company donated the land, and the Southwest Suburban Homebuilders Association donated labor and materials. A marine who served in 'Desert Storm' purchased the home. The sale proceeds of $324,000 were then donated to the Disabled Patriot Fund.
